OTHER WAYS TO GET INVOLVED

HASHTAG AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

Happy SuperPreemies.jpeg

The public and parents of preemies are encouraged to join the hashtag campaign #Hugs4Preemies #IamPreemie and #Fight4Preemies on twitter, instagram and facebook to promote continuing awareness of problems related to prematurity.

Stories and photographs related to prematurity with banners of these hashtags may be uploaded to create awareness. Parents of premature infants in Malaysia are encouraged to share the story of their journey via our SuperPreemies’ Run facebook page, and on twitter as well as instagram. We would also like to invite those who would like to support us by helping us highlight our causes by becoming our social media partner.

Donate towards the run & awareness programme !! Any activities dedicated towards raising preemie awareness are welcomed. Examples include distribution of gifts to hospitals around Malaysia such as artwork, inspirational cards, premature infants’ baby suits and knitted or crafted hats.

In May 2017, a Perinatal Society of Malaysia council member ran the KL Marathon to help raise awareness of premature births and the need to uphold perinatal education for healthcare providers.

In November 2014, the Perinatal Society of Malaysia was honoured to have had the support of Yayasan Sultan Azlan Shah, which donated 2 specialised neonatal retrieval ambulances for use by the government hospitals. You may announce the activity on your website and your social media accounts to help create awareness of premature births.
